![]() ![]() Though many of the characters were more caricature, Will, Lucy, and David were fairly well developed and worthy of our interest. more s edgy (violence, sexual content, and adult language) yet the authors created a compelling plot- high school students reestablishing social mores in a Lord of the Flies post-apocalyptic world. ![]() Review 2: Parents are strongly cautioned. It is an interesting Lord of Flies look at modern teens. It is more risque than the first book and not something I would recommend to young teens. The reader thinks they see what is coming, but.well you will have to read the book to find out. Don't get attached to any character, because you never know how long they will hang around. Can these new kids be trusted? This is a book of the unexpected. How will the Loners left survive? Also, a new group of teens has invaded McKinley High. The Loners lose their stronghold, what with David being dead and many members taken out of the picture. Even with the door open, things don't turn out as expected. Review 1: It has been over a year and McKinley High is still in quarantine. ![]()
